IN THE MATTER OF Recognizing Senior Animal Center Technician Alfonso Gonzalez for his 20 years of service to Contra Costa County, as recommended by the Animal Services Director.
WHEREAS, Alfonso Gonzalez began his career with Contra Costa County as an Animal Center Technician for Contra Costa Animal Services on December 7, 2004. Mr. Gonzalez was promoted to a Sr. Animal Center Technician on December 23, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the staff celebrates Mr. Alfonso Gonzalez’s contributions to performing his duties in accordance with the values of Contra Costa Animal Services' mission statement through his dedicated work performance and outstanding work ethic; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Alfonso Gonzalez has served in the animal services division, improving the department’s operations and service capacity; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gonzalez is a valued resource, dedicated staff member, and model employee for the Contra Costa Animal Services Department;
WHEREAS, the staff and leadership of Contra Costa Animal Services recognize and commend Alfonso Gonzalez for his years of outstanding service and unwavering commitment to the welfare of animals and the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Supervisors does hereby recognize Alfonso Gonzalez for his 20 years of dedicated service to Contra Costa Animal Services and for the high quality of work performed by him during his career.
