WHEREAS, Sideboard Lafayette is a beloved neighborhood kitchen and coffee bar in the heart of downtown Lafayette, owned and operated by Erin and Ford Andrews, and since opening in 2014, it has been warmly embraced by the community.

Whereas, Erin and Ford have both worked in hospitality since they were 14 years old. Sideboard is named after their grandmother’s well-loved piece of furniture that stored everything the family needed to set the table for lovingly prepared homemade meals.

WHEREAS, Since moving to Lafayette in 1988, their fondest memories include raising their children in their close-knit neighborhood. “Neighborhood” is part of the restaurant’s name to honor “Our village within a village where we live and or work. The safe haven where the social network and community can realize common values”; and

Whereas, their guiding business values are Integrity, Respect, Organization, and Communication (IROC). Their rustic comfort food is prepared from scratch with local, natural, organic, and

sustainable ingredients sourced from farmers, ranchers, and purveyors who share their

passion and vision; and
