Adopt Resolution to recognize Angie Rivera for her 25 years of service to Contra Costa County.

If the action is not approved, Angie Rivera would not be recognized for her 25 years of service with Contra Costa County.

IN THE MATTER OF: Recognizing the contributions of Angie Rivera for her 25 of service to Contra Costa County.
WHEREAS, on October 9, 2001, Angie began her career with Contra Costa County as an Animal Services Clerk; and
WHEREAS, on January 1, 2005, Angie was promoted to a Clerk-Senior Level position at Animal Services; and
WHEREAS, on September 20, 2010, Angie transferred to Health Services as Clerk-Senior Level position; and
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2011, Angie was promoted to an Account Clerk-Advanced Level position at Health Services; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 2014, Angie was promoted to a Payroll Technician position at the Auditor-Controller Office; and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 2020, Angie was promoted to a Senior Payroll Technician position at the Auditor-Controller Office; and
WHEREAS, Angie has a vast knowledge of payroll and uses her experience to produce an accurate and timely payroll; and
WHEREAS, Angie is dedicated to ensuring all the numerous forms received in our office are processed efficiently and accurately, meeting all deadlines; and
WHEREAS, Angie has contributed her knowledge of payroll to aid in the success of numerous projects; and
WHEREAS, Angie enjoys sharing her knowledge of payroll with those she works closely with to ensure they also produce an accurate and timely payroll; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does hereby recognize and honor Angie Rivera for her 25 years of dedicated service for Contra Costa County and for the outstanding service, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
