ADOPT Resolution recognizing John M Johnson, for his 30 years of service to Contra Costa County, as recommended by Anna Roth, Health Services Director.

Honoring John M Johnson upon the occasion of 30 years of service with Contra Costa Health Services
WHEREAS John M Johnson began his career with Contra Costa County as a Disease Intervention Technician in the Health Services on July 16, 1994. Mr. Johnson began his work in the Tuberculosis Program 1994 and then transferred to support the HIV/STI Program in 2009, where he currently remains today; and
WHEREAS the staff celebrates Mr. Johnson’s contributions to performing his duties in accordance with the values of the Contra Costa County Health Services Mission Statement through his dedicated flexibility working among various environments and populations; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Johnson has efficiently and effectively provided support to the community through focused testing services for HIV, STIs and prevention education in a way that supports Contra Costa Health Services’ Commitment to Service Excellence; and
WHEREAS Mr. Johnson’s prior experience as a Substance Use Counselor, fascinated connections to additional agencies supporting HIV/STI testing, fostering beneficial resources to new and long-term employees. He consistently demonstrates a genuine concern for the community and its residents; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that John M Johnson be recognized and thanked for his 30 years of public service to the Contra Costa Health Services Department, and for his dedication of work and invaluable contributions.
