IN THE MATTER OF OF RECOGNIZING COCOKIDS ON THEIR 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

WHEREAS, for 50 years, CocoKids has been Contra Costa County’s leading champion for children, families, and early educators.

WHEREAS, their services include child care referrals for all families, parent support and education, financial support for child care costs for at-risk and low-income households, health and nutrition programs, inclusion support, and extensive professional development for the early learning workforce.

WHEREAS, with offices in Concord, Richmond, and Antioch, CocoKids strengthens the county’s early learning ecosystem by equipping early educators with the tools they need to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate care.

WHEREAS, its long-standing commitment to equity and inclusion ensures that every child regardless of background can reach their fullest potential.
