Their technicians are specifically trained in the types of apparatus used at our airports and bring valuable expertise gained through a longstanding partnership. The vendor has also served as the primary supplier of parts for the County’s Oshkosh apparatus.
Fleet Services is requesting approval of a service contract with Global ARFF Services, LLC for the term October 7, 2025 through October 6, 2030. This service contract will be made through a sole source procurement to ensure continuity of aircraft rescue firefighting apparatus maintenance and repair services for Contra Costa County Airports.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Failure to approve this contract will result in non-compliance with FAA guidelines for the maintenance and repair of aircraft rescue and firefighting apparatuses at Buchanan Field Airport and Byron Airport.
