IN THE MATTER OF recognizing Pablo Cabrera as the 2026 Youth Hall of Fame Awardee for Teamwork, Rising Star
WHEREAS, Pablo Cabrera, a 6th grade student at El Dorado Middle School, is an exceptional young leader whose actions reflect maturity, initiative, and a deep sense of responsibility to his school community; and
WHEREAS, Pablo was selected by his peers to serve on his school’s Principal Leadership Team, where he collaborates with school administrators to analyze data, strengthen school culture, and represent the student voice with thoughtfulness and integrity; and
WHEREAS, Pablo demonstrated extraordinary initiative by translating the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals into student-friendly language, empowering his peers to better understand and engage with their school’s vision and priorities; and
WHEREAS, Pablo is widely respected by staff and students alike for his insight, compassion, and commitment to civic responsibility, consistently leading by example and encouraging others to participate; and
WHEREAS, Pablo’s leadership has made a meaningful and lasting impact on his school community, inspiring others through his dedication and collaborative spirit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does hereby recognize Pablo Cabrera as the 2026 Youth Hall of Fame Awardee for Teamwork Rising Star, and commend him for exemplifying the enduring values of service, integrity, kindness, activism, and leadership inspired by the Farmworkers’ Rights Movement and the many individuals who have dedicated their lives to advancing dignity, equity, and justice for others.
