If the action is not approved, April Wilson would not be recognized for her years of service with Contra Costa County.

IN THE MATTER OF: Recognizing the contributions of April Wilson for her 35 years of service to Contra Costa County.
WHEREAS, April Wilson began her career with the Contra Costa County at the General Services Department on July 22, 1991; and
WHEREAS, on January 2, 2003, April was hired in the Auditor-Controller’s office to the position of Account Clerk-Beginning; and
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2004, April was promoted to Account Clerk-Experienced; and
WHEREAS, on September 1, 2007, April was promoted to Account Clerk-Advanced; and
WHEREAS, on September 1, 2011, April was promoted to Accounting Technician; further showcasing her commitment to professional growth and excellence in service;
and
WHEREAS, April has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the mission and values of the Office, exemplifying professionalism, dedication, and an outstanding work ethic in all aspects of her role; and
WHEREAS, April’s hard work has greatly benefited the Office of the Auditor-Controller and enhanced the quality of life for residents of Contra Costa County; and
WHEREAS, April’s contributions and demeanor have supported the success of numerous coworkers and colleagues; and we are proud to celebrate this significant professional milestone in April’s career and thank her for her dedicated service to Contra Costa County and the Office of the Auditor-Controller; and
WHEREAS, best of all, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does hereby recognize and honor April Wilson for her 35 years of dedicated service for Contra Costa County and for the outstanding service, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
