RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving the Parcel Map for urban lot split minor subdivision MS24-00004, for a project being developed by Jay R. Catena and Melissa J. Catena, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Lafayette area. (District II)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works has reviewed the applicable code requirements for urban lot split minor subdivision MS24-00004 and has determined that all compliance requirements for Parcel Map approval have been satisfied.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Parcel Map will not be approved and recorded.

IN THE MATTER OF: Approving the Parcel Map for urban lot split minor subdivision MS24-00004, for a project being developed by Jay R. Catena and Melissa J. Catena, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Lafayette area. (District II)
WHEREAS, the following documents were present for board approval this date:
The Parcel Map of urban lot split minor subdivision MS24-00004, property located in the Lafayette area, Supervisorial District II, said map having been certified by the proper officials.
Said document was accompanied by:
1. Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 2025-2026 tax lien has been paid in full, and the 2026-2027 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of January 2026, is estimated to be $19,440.00.
2. Security to guarantee the payment of taxes, as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, in the form of a cash deposit, (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. DP942788, dated August 13, 2026) made by Jay R. Catena and Melissa J. Catena in the amount: $19,440.00, guaranteeing the payment of the estimated tax.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That said subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be consistent with the County’s general and specific plans.
2. That said Parcel Map is APPROVED and this Board does hereby accept subject to installation and acceptance of improvements on behalf of the public any of the streets shown thereon as dedicated to public use.
