Report Title: Approve and Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute an amendment to a participating addendum with FLO Charging Solutions USA, Inc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, an amendment to a participating addendum and blanket purchase order with FLO Charging Solutions USA, Inc., to extend the term through July 20, 2026 and increase the blanket purchase order by $500,000 to a new payment limit of $1,300,000, for Vehicle Charging Equipment, Products, and Services, for use by the Public Works Department in their deployment of Electric Vehicles (EV) Charging Stations at various County locations under the terms of the Master Contract awarded by the State of Minnesota, Countywide.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Product and services costs are funded by the Measure X Sustainability Fund.
BACKGROUND:
Contra Costa Purchasing Services is requesting approval of an amendment to the Participating Addendum and blanket purchase order #28651 for the purchase of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment, Products, and Services offered through FLO Charging Solutions USA, Inc. Products are guaranteed through the master contract awarded by Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota Public Agency. Approval of the addendum between Contra Costa County and FLO Charging Solutions USA, Inc., allows the County to obtain guaranteed pricing available through Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota Public Agency, contract. The purchase will support Contra Costa County Departments with Vehicle Charging Equipment, Products, and Services, and provide discounted equipment off published list prices. This will allow County Departments to purchase Vehicle Charging Equipment, Products, and Services for less than they would without this benefit.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without approval of this agreement, the County would be paying full price on Vehicle Charging Equipment, Product and Service purchases they make today.
