IN THE MATTER OF honoring Kelley Taylor, Ambulatory Care Clinical Supervisor, upon the occasion of 30 years of service with Contra Costa Health, as recommended by the Ambulatory Care Operation Director.

 

WHEREAS, Kelley Taylor began her career with Contra Costa Health Services as a Registered Nurse in December of 1993 working at Merrithew Memorial Hospital on the Medical/ Surgical Unit, which was referred to as B-Ward. Ms Taylor advanced her career by transferring to the Pediatric Department in 1995. In 2008 Ms. Taylor continued to advance her career and accepted a position as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Supervisor for the Concord Health Center. Ms. Taylor received her Master of Science in Nursing Practice and, in March 2020, graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice; and

 

WHEREAS, the staff celebrate Ms. Taylor’s contributions through her experience and education to perform her duties in accordance with the values of the Contra Costa Health Services Mission Statement through her dedicated work performance; and

 

WHEREAS, Ms. Taylor has efficiently and effectively provided support and dedication to Contra Costa Health, to the Ambulatory Policy Committee, Ambulatory Nursing Leadership, Ambulatory Redesign Committee, as well as various other committees to continue to uphold and elevate nursing in a way that supports Contra Costa Health Services’ Commitment to Service Excellence; and

 

WHEREAS, Ms. Taylor has been a beneficial resource to new and long-term employees of the Nursing department. She consistently demonstrates a genuine desire to promote health care for all citizens of Contra Costa County. She selflessly shares her knowledge and experience each day with those around her; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Taylor has been an integral member of the Ambulatory Policy Committee since 2015, where she is often described as a fierce supporter of nursing but also a warm and fair collaborator on topics of patient care.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that Kelley Taylor be recognized and thanked for her 30 hears of public service to the Contra Costa County Health Department and for her dedication of work and invaluable contributions.
