Referral History and Update:
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) on Public Safety Realignment is composed of twelve (12) Voting Members and three (3) Alternate Members. To date, CAB has a total of twelve (12) Voting Members, and three (3) vacant Alternate Member seats. As of September 2024, one (1) Alternate member resigned from the Board.

On December 12, 2024, CAB voted to nominate applicant, Gloribel Guerrero - Pastrana, for appointment by the CCP to fulfill one (1) vacant 2024 CAB Alternate Member seat.
A summary of qualifications for each nominated applicant is presented below:

Gloribel Guerrero - Pastrana (Central County)
Gloribel Guerrero-Pastrana has nine years of experience working with justice-impacted individuals and thirteen years in the workforce development field. This dual experience allows her to offer valuable insights from both employer and recruiter perspectives.

Currently, she serves as the Business Services Manager at Rubicon Programs, where she builds and maintains partnerships with employers, community-based organizations (CBOs), and training providers. In this role, she is dedicated to creating pathways to employment by connecting community members with meaningful opportunities that support their growth and success. She works regionally across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.

As a bilingual professional with strong ties to the community, Gloribel is involved in passion projects aimed at building sports programs for local children. She collaborates with various adult education programs, community colleges, and CBOs to uplift employability and remove barriers to employment.
