APPOINT Fred Page to the District 1, Alternate Seat for the Contra Costa County Library Commission for a term ending on June 30, 2024, as recommended by Supervisor Gioia.

BACKGROUND:
The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and the County Librarian; provides a forum for the community to provide input concerning Library operations, and recommends proposals to the Board of Supervisors and the County Librarian which may improve the Library.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The appointment would not be made and the District would not have representation on the commission.
