Report Title: Declare Vacant the At-large Alternate Position on the Fish and Wildlife Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:
ACCEPT the resignation of Felipe Solis, DECLARE a vacancy in the At-large Alternate seat on the Fish and Wildlife Committee, which as a term ending on December 31, 2024, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

BACKGROUND:
The role of the Fish and Wildlife Committee is to advise the Board of Supervisors on fish and wildlife issues that may affect Contra Costa County, make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for the expenditure of funds from the Fish and Wildlife Propagation Fund pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 13103, address issues surrounding the enforcement of fish and game laws and regulations in Contra Costa County, and consider other issues which may from time to time be referred to the Committee by the Board of Supervisors.
The Fish and Wildlife Committee has ten members: five District representatives nominated by individual members of the Board of Supervisors, four At-large positions and one At-large Alternate position nominated by the Internal Operations Committee. All terms are for four years.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The At-large Alternate position would remain vacant.
