RECOMMENDATIONS:

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26367 to reassign one (1) Ambulatory Provider - Exempt (VPT1) (vacant) position #8615 at salary plan and grade 1PX 1001 ($17,509.45 - $19,856.20) from  Department 0540/Org 6387 (Family Practice Martinez) to Department  0301/Org 5700 (Martinez Detention Infirmary) and reassign one (1) Nurse Practitioner (VWSB) (vacant) position #18023 at salary plan and grade L35 1873 ($14,343.67 - $17,913.27) from Department 0301/Org 5700 (Martinez Detention) to Department 0540/Org 6387 (Family Practice Martinez) in Health Services.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, this request will result in an annual savings of approximately $37,444.15 with pension costs of $5,470.20 already included. (0540/6387) (100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I)

BACKGROUND:

Without the position reassignments the department will be unable to hire the needed providers in detention and hospital.

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, these positions will not be properly allocated to the correct department and will negatively affect program activities.
