RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Circle Drive, from 171 Circle Drive to the end of the road, on August 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of a community event held by the Parkmead Community Association, Walnut Creek area. (District II)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department. The Parkmead Community Association has requested a closure for a community event to maintain traffic and pedestrian safety.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road to hold their planned event.
