RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE amendments to the List of Designated Positions of the Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department’s Conflict of Interest Code.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department has amended the List of Designated Positions of its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised List of Designated Positions, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board of Supervisors for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.
The recommended changes include the reclassification of one position and the redesignation of other positions designated to file conflict of interest statements. These changes will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure in use by the Department. A red-lined version of the List of Designated Positions is included as Exhibit B.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
None.
