Report Title:                     Add three Information Systems Programmer and Analyst II, and cancel three Teacher-Project positions

Recommendation of the County Administrator Recommendation of Board Committee

 

RECOMMENDATIONS:

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26365 to add three (3) Information Systems Programmer and Analyst II (LPVA) (represented) positions at salary plan and grade ZA5-1594 ($7,602.27 - $9,240.61) and cancel three (3) Teacher-Project (CJN1) (represented) positions (12106, 16137, and 16644) at salary plan and grade QH5-0974 ($4,938.43 - $6,002.69) in the Employment and Human Services Department. 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Approval of this item will result in expenditures of up to $151,086 annually and an expenditure of up to $100,725 for FY 24-25, and will be funded by 8% County, 54% Federal, and 38% State funds.

 

 

BACKGROUND:

To improve capacity to produce necessary reports that guide decisions and program delivery, EHSD will add three Information Systems Programmer and Analyst II positions and cancel three Teacher-Project positions which are obsolete due to the decreased number of slots funded by Head Start for 2024.

 

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Should the proposed action not be approved by the Board of Supervisors, the County will result in the department's inability to provide mandated services to the community.
