RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief or designee to enter into a one-year subscription with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) LiNK(r), in the amount of $1,127, subject to the terms of National Fire Protection Association Link's End User License Agreement, to provide instant access to National Fire Protection Association Codes and Standards, for the period October 15, 2024 through October 31, 2025.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted. 100% CCCFPD General Operating Fund.

BACKGROUND:
National Fire Protection Association LiNK(r) is a subscription-based application that delivers National Fire Protection Association codes, standards, and supplementary content. The tool allows users to easily search and navigate content based on real-world scenarios, providing valuable resources to employees for research, training, and operational preparedness.

National Fire Protection Association Link's End User License Agreement includes a limitation of liability capping National Fire Protection Association's maximum liability at the amount of fees paid in the prior twelve (12) months.
