Report Title: Approve Amended Contra Costa County Treasury Oversight Committee Bylaws

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the amended Contra Costa County Treasury Oversight Committee (“TOC”) Bylaws, which governs TOC, as recommended by the Treasurer-Tax Collector.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa County TOC was established in 1996. The TOC Bylaws was developed and adopted by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in 2012. Since then, the TOC reviews its Bylaws at least on an annual basis. At its October 24, 2023 meeting, the TOC approved the amended Bylaws to change the meeting dates and to clarify the procedures for the election of TOC Chair and Vice Chair.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the amended Bylaws are not approved, the Bylaws may create confusion and may impact the attendance of TOC meetings.
