RECOMMENDATIONS:
DENY claims filed by Anthony Allen, Min Huang, Tan Pham & Jenette Miller, and Clayton Palms Community, LP.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Anthony Allen: Civil rights claim for excessive force in an amount to exceed $25,000.
Min Huang: Property claim for damage to vehicle in the amount of $8,000.
Tan Pham & Jenette Miller: Property claim for damage to fence from falling tree in the amount of $1,500.
Clayton Palms Community, LP: Property claim for damage resulting from storm water flooding in an amount to exceed $35,000.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Not acting on the claims could extend the claimants’ time limits to file actions against the County.
