Report Title: Aging and Adult Services Annual Report Update
Recommendation: Recommendation of the County Administrator
RECOMMENDATIONS:
RECEIVE the Aging and Adult Services Annual Report Update from the Employment and Human Services Department regarding Aging and Adult Services provided in Contra Costa County, as recommended by the Family and Human Services Committee.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
On May 23, 2000, the Board of Supervisors referred to the Family and Human Services Committee an annual report on the progress made on the issues of older adult abuse in Contra Costa County (C.92).
The most recent status update was provided to the Board of Supervisors on November 18, 2025. Please see the attached presentation (D.4).
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Should the proposed action not be approved by the Board of Supervisors, the County will not know about aging and adult services efforts.
