On February 2, 2026, the Los Medanos Healthcare Operations committee approved the (3) workgroups. These are ad hoc, non-standing committees of the Los Medanos Health Advisory Committee. They are advisory in nature and have no independent decision-making authority. These workgroups are established only for 2026 calendar year. Expected cadence is one time per month. Workgroup structures will be determined at the first meeting. Workgroup priorities will be defined at the first meeting.
Established workgroups are -Governance and Membership Workgroups; Grant Administration; and Planning. Each workgroup will consist of 2-3 advisory members.

Staff requests that LMHAC members choose 1-2 workgroups to participate and sit on.
