Recommendation of the County Administrator Recommendation of Board Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, a participating addendum with CDW Government, LLC., in an amount not to exceed $2,500,000, for the purchase of technology products, services and related solutions, for use by County Departments, during the period of October 7, 2025 through February 27, 2028 under the terms of the Master Contract awarded by Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota public agency.

FISCAL IMPACT:

 100% User Departments

BACKGROUND:

Contra Costa Purchasing Services is requesting approval of a Participating Addendum for the purchase of technology products, services and related solutions offered through CDW Government, LLC. Products are guaranteed through the master contract awarded by Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota public agency Contract No. 121923-CDW. Approval of the addendum between Contra Costa County and CDW Government, LLC., allows the County to obtain guaranteed pricing available through the Sourcewell contract No. 121923-CDW. The purchase will support all County departments with the purchase of technology products including computers, tablets, keyboards, monitors, printers, scanners, networking equipment, services and related solutions providing significant discounts off-list pricing.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Without approval of this agreement, County Departments would be paying full price on the purchase of technology products, services and related solution purchases.
