From the Contra Costa County Office of the Clerk of the Board:
Appointees to Contra Costa County’s boards & commissions are required to take four trainings:
• Contra Costa County requires three training courses within three months of appointment and every two years thereafter.
o Contra Costa County Brown Act Training
o Contra Costa County Implicit Bias Training
o CA Local Agency Ethics Training (AB 1234)
• California state law requires one additional training within six months of appointment and every two years thereafter.
o CA Fiscal and Financial Training (SB 827)
