RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Bernhard Avenue, between Cypress Avenue and Kensington Avenue, on August 2, 2025, from 5:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m., for the purpose of the East Richmond Heights Art and Music Festival, Richmond area. (District I)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No Fiscal Impact.
BACKGROUND:
The East Richmond Heights Municipal Advisory Council is requesting to close Bernhard Avenue between Cypress Avenue and Kensington Avenue for their annual East Richmond Heights Art and Music Festival. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the event. Local and through traffic will not be permitted during the event. Local traffic will be allowed after 7:00 p.m., when the event is clearing the road. The applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The applicant will be unable to close the road for the event.
