ADOPT a resolution recognizing Curtis Dickover, for 25 years of service to Contra Costa County, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

IN THE MATTER OF recognizing the contributions of Curtis Dickover for his 25 years of service to Contra Costa County

WHEREAS, Curtis Dickover began his career with Contra Costa County on February 1, 1999, at the Public Works Department as a Laborer in the Maintenance Division; and

WHEREAS, Curtis Dickover began Flex Staffing in February 2010, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and expanded responsibilities within the Public Works Department; and

WHEREAS, on November 9, 2010, Curtis Dickover successfully tested on his first piece of equipment, the loader, and subsequently transferred to the Flood Control Crew to complete four months of required training, which he completed on April 12, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Curtis Dickover continued to expand his technical skills by testing on the stencil truck on November 6, 2012, successfully passing and becoming certified to operate the stencil truck, and later completed his final equipment certification by passing the roller test on May 3, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Curtis Dickover applied for the Maintenance Worker III (MWIII) position on April 5, 2021, reflecting his dedication to advancement, leadership, and excellence in public service; and
