CAB will review proposed uses for available AB 109 Excess Funds, including new funding proposals and changes to existing allocations, and provide input before developing formal recommendations for presentation to the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP).
Referral History and Update:
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) has been tasked with ongoing monitoring of AB 109 Excess Funds. CAB previously reviewed and provided input on the use of the funds and presented its recommendations and monitoring framework to the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP), which approved them. The CAB Policy & Budget Subcommittee continues to monitor funding implementation, expenditures, and outcomes. As part of this ongoing monitoring, additional funds have become available, and changes to existing allocations are being considered. Proposed changes will be brought to the full CAB for consideration.
