Report Title: FY24-25 Year-End Budget Amendment for Crockett-Carquinez Fire District

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE Budget Amendment No. BDA-25-00084 to increase state mutual aid revenues and related expenditures based on actuals, in the amount of $400,000 in the Crockett-Carquinez Fire District (7028) Fund 202800 as part of FY24-25 year-end budget balancing.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action is to adjust the revenues and expenditures budget by $400,000 to more accurately reflect FY24-25 actuals that resulted from an increase in state mutual aid services.
BACKGROUND:
The Crockett-Carquinez Fire District (District) has responded to seven state mutual aid assignments, including the recent southern California fires. The requested budget amendment accounts for additional state funding the District will receive as reimbursement and the appropriations necessary to account for the additional salary related cost and services and supplies resources utilized in FY24-25.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, appropriations will not properly reflect the District’s FY 2024-25 operating budget.
