IN THE MATTER OF RECOGNIZING ADYA GUPTA AS THE 2026
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY STUDENT
HUMANITARIAN FOR INNOVATION AND EMPOWERMENT
WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors proudly recognizes outstanding youth whose leadership, compassion, and civic engagement strengthen communities throughout Contra Costa County; and
WHEREAS, Adya Gupta, a junior at Dougherty Valley High School, has demonstrated exceptional initiative and dedication to community service through innovative programs that empower both youth and seniors; and
WHEREAS, Adya is the founder of Impactt Kids, a nonprofit organization that empowers young people to create meaningful community change through technology, education, and service; and
WHEREAS, inspired by her grandmother's experience with scam calls, Adya launched initiatives to educate and protect seniors from fraud while restoring their confidence and trust; and
WHEREAS, through partnerships with organizations including Choice in Aging and Contra Costa Senior Legal Services, Adya has led scam-awareness workshops, educational programs, and community outreach efforts benefiting seniors and underserved populations; and
