Report Title: Conflict of Interest Code for the Department of Child Support Services

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE amendments to the list of designated positions in the Conflict of Interest Code for the Department of Child Support Services (“DCSS”).
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The DCSS amended its list of designated positions in the Appendix A to its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised Code to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5. The Appendix A has been revised to change the title of one of the designated positions. A final version of the Code, including the Appendix A, is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
These changes will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure in use by the DCSS. A red-lined version of the Conflict of Interest Code is attached as Exhibit B.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
None.
