RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the County Librarian, to execute a purchase order with Total Communication Solutions LLC, subject to the terms of their Master Services Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $9,762 for the Zoom subscription renewal, for the period August 6, 2026, through August 5, 2027.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Library Fund

 

BACKGROUND:

Library Department has and continues to use Zoom licenses and software provided by Total Communication Solutions Limited Liability Company, to provide video conferencing functionality for meetings, conferences, public performances, and to conduct interviews.

 

The PO is for the renewal of 32 Enterprise Essentials Zoom licenses and one (1) Webinar 1000 Zoom license.

 

The terms and conditions include limitation of liability and indemnification language which was reviewed by County Counsel. This Purchase Order is entered into under and subject to the following legal authority, California Government Code § 31000.

 

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If the Purchase Order is not approved, the Contra Costa County Library’s IT operations will not be able to function as they have been, and library services to patrons will be impacted.
