Recommendation of the County Administrator Recommendation of Board Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of Department of Conservation and Development, a Purchase Order and associated Master Services Agreement with CivicPlus, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $20,602.45 for hosting, security, and support of the County’s solid waste and recycling website (cccrecyle.org) from February 25, 2026 through February 26, 2029.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Website hosting will be fully paid for with integrated waste management (AB939) fees.

BACKGROUND:

CivicPlus, LLC provides cloud hosting and support for the Department of Conservation and Development’s solid waste and recycling website (www.cccrecycle.org <http://www.cccrecycle.org>). This website hosts a wide variety of waste and recycling information intended to assist the public with properly managing their trash, organic waste and recyclables.  This website also includes the County’s four solid waste and recycling Franchise Agreements which are required to be posted on a publicly accessible website.  Procuring these website hosting services requires the County to agree to CivicPlus, LLC’s Master Services Agreement, which includes mutual indemnification and limited liability language to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this Purchase Order.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If not approved, the public would not be able to access waste and recycling information on the cccrecycle.org website.
