Report Title: Vacancies and Appointment on the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council

RECOMMENDATIONS:
DECLARE vacancies in the Unincorporated Seat 3 previously held by Beverly Scott and the Nonprofit/Business/Flex Seat 2 previously held by Gloria Lopez for terms ending on December 31, 2026, APPOINT Beatriz Dominguez to the Unincorporated Seat 1 for a term ending December 31, 2030 on the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancies, as recommended by Supervisor Gioia.

BACKGROUND:
The North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council advises the Board of Supervisors on issues and concerns affecting the unincorporated community of North Richmond. The North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council includes seven (7) seats. Four (4) seats are designated exclusively for residents of unincorporated areas of North Richmond. Three (3) seats are designated for representatives who are members who represent any of the following categories: a business operating in or adjacent to the North Richmond community; a non-profit in or adjacent to North Richmond; a resident of the City of North Richmond; or an additional (fifth) resident of Unincorporated North Richmond.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Seats will remain vacant and negatively impact quorum.
