Referral History and Update:

 

Health and climate change has been a topic of strong interest to the Commission.  Chair Wechsler requested that Dr. Bret Adrews present to the Commission on the impacts of climate change and health. 

 

Dr. Andrews is a recently retired neurologist who practiced at Kaiser Oakland and Richmond for 22 years.  He’s founded a group called NICHe, Neurologists Interested in Climate and Health (nichebrainhealth.com).  As a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility SF Bay Chapter (PSR-SF,), he presents on the co-benefits of reducing greenhouse emissions and fossil fuel emissions.
