If the action is not approved, Sharon Spencer Brown will not be recognized for her years of service with Contra Costa County.

RECOGNIZING the contributions of Sharon Spencer Brown on the occasion of her 30 years of service to Contra Costa County

WHEREAS, on December 6, 1996, Sharon Spencer Brown began her career with Contra Costa County as a Clerk Experienced Level in the County Administrator’s Office; and

WHEREAS, on December 1, 1997, Sharon was promoted to Secretary Advanced Level; and

WHEREAS, on October 1, 2009, Sharon transferred to Risk Management. As a Secretary Advanced Level, Sharon provides administrative support to the Director of Risk Management, the Deputy Director of Risk Management, and the Risk Management Department Divisions; and

WHEREAS, Sharon is celebrated for her dedicated and distinguished service to the organization. In her role as Secretary Advanced-Level, Sharon provides indispensable support to the Director and Deputy Director in Risk Management and offers steady, skilled assistance to staff across the organization through a wide range of administrative functions. Sharon’s ability to wear many hats—processing invoices, preparing contracts, coordinating Board consent items, drafting memoranda, managing schedules, and supporting the evolving needs of leadership and staff—demonstrates remarkable versatility and commitment.
