RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County an Amendment Order Form (County Contract Amendment #23-791-1) with Zoom Video Communications, Inc., a corporation, effective December 16, 2025, to increase the payment limit by $903,750, from $716,982 to a new payment limit of $1,620,732, and extend the termination date from March 30, 2026 to December 11, 2029, to provide its hosted enterprise telehealth and video conference solution and services for Contra Costa Health (CCH).

FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract Amendment will result in additional service expenditures of up to $903,750 over a 3-year period and will be funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:
This Contract Amendment meets the needs of the County by providing a hosted enterprise communication solution. CCH utilizes Zoom Video Communications to provide telehealth services, patient communication, and meetings with internal and external partners and Zoom Video Communication solution services to support Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, health clinics and ancillary sites. Users are connected to and rely on this telehealth service to provide patient care to those unable to come into physical locations for health care services. This Contractor was approved by the Public Works Department's Purchasing Division on October 8, 2025. CCH will monitor measurable service contract deliverables regarding CCH's access to the software, maintenance, support and services in compliance with Section III(B)(7) of the Purchasing Policy. CCH Personnel approved this Contract to ensure no conflict with labor relations.
