Information:
At the July 7, 2025 Los Medanos Healthcare Operations Committee (LMHOC) meeting a motion was approved to allocate an additional $200,000 from the reserve to provide a grant to the Mount Diablo School District (MDUSD). The total amount requested by MDUSD is $152,653.
In the initial recommendations from this committee to the LMHOC there was $3,939 that was not allocated.
One agency has declined their award in the amount of $100,000. The LMHOC requested staff to gather additional information from all proposed awardees to determine their ability to execute their programs. Upon consideration of the forms and review by county staff the LMHOC has determined that a second agency will not be funded in this round.
After adjusting for the award to MDUSD there is a total of $251,286 available for allocation to additional agencies. This committee has been directed by the LMHOC to consider allocating these funds.
