RECOMMENDATIONS:

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26292 to:

Increase the hours of one (1) Occupational Therapist II position #7604 at salary plan and grade TC5-1746 ($8,416.197 - $10,229.942) and its incumbent EE# 89996 from 20/40 to 36/40 (5891 - Ccs Therapy Program) in the Health Services Department

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, this request will result in a cost neutral in the Public Health Therapy Program (Org. 5891), (17.5% General Fund and 82.5% State/Federal CCS Funds).

BACKGROUND:

Per Teamsters Local 856 MOU, section 48- Position Hours Adjustment, incumbents have the ability to submit requests during the months of January and/or July to have their position hours adjusted. Management reviews and evaluates these requests by considering the actual work hours of the employee over the past six (6) months and the anticipated needs of the department.

After reviewing the request, management agrees with adjusting the hours of both positions.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If not approved, the County will not be complying with the negotiated MOU terms previously agreed upon with the unions.
