RECOMMENDATIONS:
Acting as the governing body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District), APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Engineer, or designee, to execute a right-of-way contract with Rodeo Parker SC, LLC, to acquire approximately 15,923 square feet of Temporary Construction Easements (TCE) within Assessor's Parcel Nos. 357-132-017 and 357-132-019, with a six-month term commencing July 1, 2025, for payment of $18,400, in connection with the District's Rodeo Creek Bank Erosion Repair Project (Project No. 7531-6D9N04). (100% Local Flood Control District Funds). (DCD-CP#21-35).
ACCEPT the TCEs on behalf of the District.
AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the amount of $18,400, payable to Rodeo Parker SC, LLC. a California limited liability company, to be forwarded to the Real Estate Division for delivery.
DIRECT the Real Estate Division of the Public Works Department, on behalf of the District, to deliver the check to Rodeo Parker SC, LLC.

FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Local Flood Control District Funds.

BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District's ("District") Rodeo Creek Bank Erosion Repair Project ("Project") includes repairing two embankment areas adjacent to, and removing accumulated sediment from within Rodeo Creek, between 4th and 7th Streets in the Rodeo area. The Project includes removing failed bank material within the eroded areas, reconstructing the embankments, and installing slope protection, among other Project-related work and improvements.
