RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution No. 2024- recognizing Sabetha Anderson for her 30 years of service to Contra Costa County.

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, California
In the matter of:
RECOGNIZING the contributions of Sabetha Anderson on the occasion of her 30 years of service to Contra Costa County
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1993, Sabetha Anderson began her career with the Risk Management Department as a Student Worker in the Workers' Compensation Claims Unit; and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 1997, Sabetha was promoted to Clerk-Experienced Level; and
WHEREAS, on February 12, 2003, Sabetha was promoted to a State Certified Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster I; and
WHEREAS, on January 30, 2018, Sabetha was promoted to Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster. As a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster, Sabetha manages complex workers' compensation cases and provides comprehensive claim management training and leadership to Claims Adjusters and Clerks; and
WHEREAS, Sabetha developed a COVID-19 claim expertise, managing hundreds of COVID-19 claims in addition to a complex caseload. Sabetha has received numerous customer service accolades from injured employees and department managers due to her high level of workers' compensation expertise and engaging communication style. Sabetha is a long-term Martinez resident who enjoys many local restaurants and events where she occasionally sees former Alhambra High School classmates. We hope Sabetha will continue to provide leadership and workers' compensation guidance to County injured employees and their leadership for years to come.
