RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE Budget Amendment No. BDA-25-00078 to transfer appropriations from Facility Lifecycle Improvement, budget unit 0085 to Public Works, budget unit 0650 for the Schroder Bridge Bearing Pad Replacement project (6X5240) in the amount of $1,200,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Measure X funds.
BACKGROUND:
Measure X funds in the amount of $1,200,000 have been allocated for the engineering and construction costs associated with the replacement of existing bearing pads for the Robert I. Schroder Bridge. Funding was appropriated to Facilities Lifecycle Improvement, budget unit 0085 on 01/31/2025. Public Works Measure X allocations are being consolidated within Public Works budget unit 0650.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Schroder Bridge Measure X funding will remain in Facility Lifecycle Improvement budget unit 0085 and will not be consolidated with other Public Works Measure X funding.
