RECOMMENDATIONS:
ACCEPT the 2025 Advisory Body Annual Report for the Contra Costa County Racial Justice Oversight Body.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
On January 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2020/1, which requires that each advisory board, commission, or committee report annually to the Board on its activities, accomplishments, membership attendance, required training / certification (if any), and proposed work plan or objectives for the following year.
Attached is the Racial Justice Oversight Body (RJOB) 2025 Advisory Body Annual Report. The annual report was reviewed and approved by the RJOB Co-Chairs and Subcommittee Chairs, and presented to the Equity Committee on December 15, 2025 and fulfills this requirement.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If unapproved, the Racial Justice Oversight Body will not be in compliance with Resolution No. 2020/1.
