Report Title: Contract Amendment/Extension #24-927-39 with Community Health for Asian Americans

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract Amendment/Extension #24-927-39 with Community Health for Asian Americans, a non-profit corporation, effective February 28, 2026, to amend Contract #24-927-38, to increase the payment limit by $1,603,560, from $1,293,622 to a new payment limit of $2,897,182 and extend the termination date from June 30, 2026 to a new termination date of December 31, 2026 for additional school and community based Medi-Cal specialty mental health services to children and their families in East and West Contra Costa County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Contract Amendment/Extension will result in additional budgeted expenditures of up to $1,603,560 and will be funded by 50% Federal Medi-Cal revenues and 50% State Medi-Cal revenues. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD)/Mental Health has an obligation to provide certain school and community based Medi-Cal specialty mental health services including but not limited to: wraparound and outpatient treatment, individual, group and family evaluations and therapy, plan development, rehabilitation support services, medication support services, crisis intervention services and linkage/advocacy services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County.
