IN THE MATTER OF: Recognizing Samantha Pedraza- Lindsey as the 2026 Youth Hall of Fame Rising Star Awardee for Innovation & Empowerment
WHEREAS, Samantha Pedraza- Linsey is compassionate, motivated, and a supportive individual who continually looks for ways to assist others. Her warm and welcoming demeanor fosters a positive environment for those around her; and
WHEREAS, she demonstrates exceptional teamwork academically and socially. Samantha excels academically and is equally committed to helping those around her succeed; and
WHEREAS, Samantha demonstrates leadership, respect and collaboration in working with her peers, providing guidance to help them understand and succeed in their assignments; and
WHEREAS, she actively listens to others, values diverse perspectives and approaches challenges with a collaborative and constructive mindset; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does hereby recognize Samantha Pedraza- Lindsey as the 2026 Youth Hall of Fame Rising Star Awardee for Innovation and Empowerment for her longstanding dedication, teamwork and leadership, to those she serves in her school, community and beyond.
