Report Title: Contract Amendment #76-789-6 with Vizient, Inc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County a Vizient Supplier Diversity Platform Subscription Statement of Work (SOW) with Vizient, Inc., a corporation, effective August 1, 2024, and increase the payment limit of Contract #76-789 by $95,000, from $874,040 to a new payment limit of $969,040 for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center's (CCRMC) access to Vizient's supplier diversity performance management technology platform with no change in the term October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2027.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this SOW will result in additional annual expenditures of up to $95,000 and will be funded 50% by savings realized through the Vizient group purchasing agreement and 50% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
Vizient, Inc., provides expertise, analytics and advisory services through solutions and services that improve the delivery of high-value care by aligning cost, quality, and performance. This Vizient Supplier Diversity Platform Subscription SOW meets the needs of Contra Costa Health by providing access to a supplier diversity performance management technology platform for CCRMC.
Execution of this SOW will allow CCRMC access to the platform needed to meet regulatory requirements for annual reporting of supplier diversity information. Health and Safety Codes ?? 1339.85-1339.87 mandate annual reporting requirements for supplier diversity information. Contract deliverables including measurable outcomes required of the Contractor to be monitored by the department in compliance with Section III(B)(7) of the Purchasing Policy include completion of implementation services, and access to general and technical support services.
