RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute a purchase order on behalf of the County Office of Communications & Media with Siteimprove, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $24,700 to provide website accessibility support, analytics, and quality assurance for the County website, contracosta.ca.gov, from January 7, 2025 through January 6, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this purchase order will result in annual service expenditures up to $24,700 and will be funded by 100% franchise fees. (100% FRANCHISE FEES)
BACKGROUND:
Siteimprove, Inc. provides software that flags broken links, misspellings, images missing alt attributes, and assists with improving the quality of the County website (contracosta.ca.gov). This purchase order includes mutual indemnification to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this purchase order.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County will not have access to software that improves the quality of the County website (contracosta.ca.gov).
