IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING MORAGA
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR ANA MOON
WHEREAS, the Moraga Citizen of the Year Committee has recognized Ana Moon as Moraga's 46th honoree of this highest honor, celebrating her outstanding volunteer contributions to the Town of Moraga; and
WHEREAS, a product of Northern California public schools, Ana is a strong believer that every child deserves access to an excellent public education. Since moving to Moraga in 2010, she has been an active volunteer in local schools and the community. Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley School of Law, reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to excellence; and
WHEREAS, Ana is widely known throughout the Moraga community for her exceptional leadership and service in local Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), the Moraga Education Foundation (MEF), the Town of Moraga 50th Anniversary celebration, and community safety initiatives; and
WHEREAS, for nearly a decade, Ana has dedicated herself to the Moraga Education Foundation, serving in multiple volunteer leadership roles including President, Recording Secretary, and Director of Communications; and
WHEREAS, through her passion, vision, and expertise, Ana has helped raise millions of dollars in support of Moraga's public schools, significantly strengthening educational opportunities for local students; and
