RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract Amendment/Extension #23-862-1with Computacenter United States Inc., a corporation, effective June 9, 2026, to increase the payment limit by $24,500, from $55,624, to a new amount not to exceed $80,124, and to extend the termination date from June 9, 2026 to June 9, 2027 for additional Citrix information technology consulting services for Contra Costa Health's data centers.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Amendment/Extension will result in additional expenditures of up to $24,500 and will be funded as budgeted by the department in FY 2026-27 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the needs of the County by providing specialized information technology consulting services and support for Contra Costa Health's data center Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM). A subject matter expert will deliver consulting services and assistance in designing and deploying Citrix WEM capabilities and providing analysis services for system improvement. Computacenter United States Inc. was selected as the vendor to provide these services (of the three vendor quotes obtained by the department) per Administrative Bulletin 600.3 solicitation requirements. Measurable outcomes include service plan deliverables such as WEM design, project planning, and delivery of consulting services. This Contract was approved by Health Services Personnel to ensure there is no conflict with labor relations.
