IN THE MATTER OF Resolution recognizing The Retirement of Mayor David E. Hudson from the City of San Ramon - mayor 2020-2024, councilmember 1997-2020
Whereas, David is a Representative on Tri-Valley Transportation Council. TVTC collected $78.8 million in development fees, thereby contributing significant financial support to regional transportation improvement projects throughout the Tri-Valley; and

Whereas, As Chair of the BAAQMD Board of Directors in 2018, Hudson advanced important air quality and climate protection measures. As part of CCCTA converting the fleet to hydrogen buses, enhancing transportation and connectivity in the region; and

Whereas, He has been a strong advocate for the Valley Link rail project, which aims to provide a sustainable transportation solution for the Tri-Valley area. Dave supported the development of the City Walk project, which has been recognized as a model for affordable housing in the Bay Area; and

Whereas, He also played a key role in the successful completion of the Caldecott Tunnel fourth bore project, which significantly improved traffic flow and safety in the area; and

Whereas, David's extensive experience on regional committees and his long-standing commitment to the community have been pivotal in driving these achievements.
